Our Story

We are so happy you found our little corner of the internet. Truly, we don’t believe it’s by accident. We believe that God brought you here for a reason, and we are so grateful you’re here.

From the very beginning of our journey, our story was perfectly created by God’s plan. We can take no credit for any of this, and know that there are no coincidences in our story, only the mighty hand of our loving Father. God moves in ways that we may not always understand at the time, but when we are obedient and listen for His direction, you begin to see transformation unfold in your life… and that is exactly how we got here.

Our story is one of faith, struggles, laughter, and a whole lot of love for Jesus.

We met in February of 2025 while working for an ecommerce company, and even that moment was something only God could have orchestrated.

Looking back, it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed with gratitude at how every piece came together so perfectly. Because the truth is — this story almost didn’t happen.

Jessica had been praying deeply for financial stability during a season of stress and uncertainty. At the time, she was working as a full-time real estate agent, making a good living, but constantly feeling overwhelmed by the inconsistency. She had originally applied for a position at the company months earlier and wasn’t hired.

But God had different plans.

In January, she was unexpectedly offered the position. She accepted but on her very first day, she felt intense doubt and spiritual warfare, convincing herself she had made the wrong decision. Overcome with confusion and fear, she quit after only four hours.

Still… God wasn’t finished.

A couple of weeks later, she felt a deep sense of conviction and regret for walking away too soon. During that time, one specific lyric played over and over in her heart

“I sought the Lord, and He heard, and He answered…”

Not long after, she received a message from the same CEO, asking her to come back.

And in that moment, she knew — this was God.

She said yes.

That “yes” led to a friendship that neither of us could have ever imagined.

Emilee was assigned to train Jessica, but what started as simple training quickly turned into something so much deeper. Conversations turned into prayer sessions, devotionals, and hours spent talking about life, faith, motherhood, and everything in between.

We became each other’s safe place.

Over the past year and a half, we have walked through both hard and beautiful seasons together. We have prayed for one another daily, supported each other through challenges, and grown into stronger women in Christ side by side. It’s the kind of friendship that you just know didn’t happen by chance it was given by God.

We knew, no matter what, that we would be in each other’s lives forever on earth and in heaven.

For months, we talked about ways to share our testimonies and give glory to God. We felt a calling on our hearts to do something more to create something meaningful that could reach others who may be walking through similar seasons.

We just didn’t know what that looked like yet.

Then, unexpectedly, the company we were working for shut down.

As mothers with responsibilities, you would think fear would have set in. But instead… we felt peace. A peace that truly surpassed all understanding.

We knew God had us. And we knew we were going to be okay.

That same week, we found ourselves laughing and saying that God was probably trying to show us exactly what we were meant to be doing we just weren’t putting the pieces together yet.

So we prayed.

We prayed for clarity, for understanding, and for Him to close any doors that were not meant for us — and to clearly show us His plan, not our own.

And that night… He answered.

Two & Gathered Co. was created the very next day.

Two & Gathered Co. is so much more than just a company.

It is our obedience to the Lord.

It is a space created with intention — a place where others can come to share their testimonies, submit prayer requests, feel encouraged, and be reminded of just how loved they truly are. It’s also a place where you can find beautiful, meaningful pieces — apparel, home decor, accessories, and more — all created to reflect faith and bring glory to God in your everyday life.

We are so incredibly grateful for you.
