Featured Testimony

This is and will always be one of my favorite moments I’ve shared with Jesus. And this testimony is what opened up my eyes to not only Jesus being real, but just how far He will go to show His love for you.

Over 15 years ago, I was in a very difficult time in my life and felt so much stress in every aspect of it. One night, while laying in bed crying and feeling completely alone, I asked God to show me if He was real and to show me that He loved me.

The very next day, on my way to work, I stopped at Chick-fil-A for breakfast like I had many times before. While waiting in line, I noticed the car in front of me had a license plate bracket that said, “Are you lost? Jesus allows U-turns.” I remember thinking to myself, well, there’s my sign. Jesus.

Then I pulled up to pay, and the cashier told me the person in front of me had already paid for my order. Tears immediately filled my eyes, and I knew without a doubt God was showing me exactly what I had prayed for the night before.

I parked my car and cried in amazement, only to be left speechless again a few minutes later when I looked through my bag and found a receipt that said “Jesus Loves You!” on the back.

I’m still speechless today. His love is like no other. Don’t ever forget just how much Jesus loves you too.

Featured Testimony

Where I live, we have a lot of trees. I live in West Virginia, and one thing we certainly have a lot of are trees and mountains.

I had been trying to be more intentional about taking in the beauty around me — the way the sun rises over the horizon, the pastures filled with apple trees and cows, and the true artwork God created.

One day, while on my way to pick up my son, joyfully driving up the same mountain I had driven every day for several years, one tree stood out to me. It was white, twisty, and just seemed so different from the others.

I said out loud, “God, that’s a cool tree. How did You make it look so cool?”

Immediately, I heard in my heart, “It was nothing compared to making you. Don’t ever forget how unique and beautifully made you are.”

We serve such a good God. His love never stops amazing me. I always ask Him things, even if they seem silly at the time, because He’s my everything, and the way He answers my prayers and even silly questions will always leave me in awe.
